I am pleased to formally report a significant and strategic engagement held today, July 10, 2025, between EWOMI NGO and the Office of the Deputy Governor of Cross River State.In a brief but impactful meeting, I had the honour of introducing the vision, mission, and core objectives of EWOMI NGO to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Peter Odinga Odey, the Deputy Governor of Cross River State. I highlighted our organization’s commitment to humanitarian outreach, skill acquisition programs, healthcare initiatives, cooperative development, and targeted support for vulnerable populations within the state.During the meeting, I also conveyed the warm greetings and regards of our esteemed Founder and National President, Ambassador John Obaka, to His Excellency. This gesture was well received and appreciated by the Deputy Governor.His Excellency expressed his strong support for the activities of humanitarian and development-focused organizations operating in Cross River State. More importantly, he conveyed his willingness to work collaboratively with EWOMI NGO to ensure the successful implementation of our programs across the state’s 18 local government areas and further stated that EWOMI’s Presence supports the primary essence of government which is the welfare and security of the people.His commitment to supporting the smooth rollout of EWOMI’s initiatives within the state represents a major milestone and an endorsement that provides a credible and stable foundation for scaling up our impact.Furthermore, I expressed our intent to partner closely with state stakeholders to ensure that no community is left behind as we work towards equitable service delivery in line with EWOMI’s national mandate.I am confident that this engagement marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between EWOMI NGO and the Cross River State Government and will contribute significantly to the successful advancement of our mission in the region.Congratulations EWOMI NGO 🎉Mr. Austin KekongState CoordinatorEWOMI NGO – Cross River State
