Over 50 Widows Registered as New Members of EWOMI in Ankpa, Kogi State

The Elijah’s Widows and Orphans Mission Int’l (EWOMI) continues to expand its reach and impact across Nigeria, as the Ankpa Local Government Coordinator of Kogi State, Madam Agabaidu Helen, successfully welcomed and registered over 50 widows as new members of the organization.

The event, which took place on Sunday, 7th September 2025, was a moment of joy, reflection, and renewed hope. The widows expressed that they had long heard of the tremendous humanitarian works EWOMI has been carrying out in different communities, touching lives, empowering women, and supporting orphans. Moved by this, they not only chose to become official members but also offered heartfelt prayers for the growth and sustainability of the organization.

In their words, the widows pledged to bring in more like-minded women who share the passion for selfless service to humanity, thereby strengthening the EWOMI family in Ankpa and beyond. They also appealed to the organization to kindly consider some of their immediate needs, especially during these challenging economic times when many widows are struggling without any tangible source of livelihood.

The registration drive was not just an administrative exercise but also a moment of solidarity and reassurance. It reaffirmed EWOMI’s vision of being a true Voice to the Voiceless, as more women find belonging, support, and opportunities for empowerment within the movement.

We sincerely appreciate the dedication of our Ankpa Coordinator, Madam Agabaidu Helen, whose commitment made this achievement possible. Most importantly, we extend our profound gratitude to the Founder of EWOMI, Ambassador Elijah Obaka John, and the entire administrators of EWOMI for their tireless efforts in ensuring that widows, youth, and orphans across Nigeria continue to receive the care, empowerment, and recognition they truly deserve.

Together, we remain committed to building a future where no widow or orphan is left behind.
