EWOMI Reaches Over 200 Widows in Makurdi with Goods and Support

Makurdi, Benue State – December

Elijah’s Widows and Orphans Mission (EWOMI) extended its humanitarian outreach to Makurdi, Benue State, in December, providing goods and essential support to over 200 widows. The initiative, aimed at easing the burden of widows and empowering them for a better future, was part of EWOMI’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the less privileged.

During the outreach, widows from across Makurdi and neighboring communities gathered to receive much-needed food supplies, clothing, and other household essentials. The distribution was designed to provide immediate relief to the widows, many of whom struggle to make ends meet.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Elijah Obaka John, founder of EWOMI, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to supporting widows, orphans, and vulnerable groups. He emphasized the importance of community-driven support systems and encouraged the beneficiaries to remain hopeful and resilient in the face of life’s challenges.

The widows, overwhelmed with gratitude, expressed appreciation for the life-changing support provided by EWOMI. Many noted that the assistance came at a critical time, helping them meet their basic needs and giving them hope for a brighter future.
