EWOMI Kogi State Widows Coordinator Pays Courtesy Visit to Widows

In fulfillment of EWOMI’s mission to empower and support widows across Nigeria, the Widows Coordinator for Kogi State, Madam Dorcas John Ebute, recently paid a courtesy visit to our members who are widows.

During the visit, Madam Dorcas educated the women on practical ways to strive and remain resilient despite the current challenging economy in Nigeria and the world. She encouraged them to embrace unity, self-development, and empowerment opportunities, while assuring them that EWOMI remains committed to standing by them.

The widows expressed great joy and gratitude for the timely visit, which brought hope and encouragement. In addition, provisions were made to revisit them soon with supportive packages for both the widows and their children.

This initiative is part of EWOMI’s quarterly routine outreach, where the organization checks in on its members, provides encouragement, and extends support as a way of living up to its motto: “Voice to the Voiceless.”

EWOMI remains steadfast in ensuring that widows and orphans across Nigeria are not left behind, but are given the tools, support, and care they need to live meaningful and dignified lives.
