EWOMI Ends the Year with Awards, Health Lectures, and Gift Sharing

Gauraka, Niger State – December 2022

Elijah’s Widows and Orphans Mission (EWOMI), a non-governmental organization committed to supporting widows and orphans, concluded the year with a special end-of-year program featuring award presentations, health lectures, and gift distribution. The event was organized to recognize outstanding contributions, educate participants on health matters, and bring joy to widows and vulnerable individuals.

The program included insightful lectures by health professionals on essential topics such as preventive healthcare, maternal well-being, and disease management. These sessions aimed to empower widows with knowledge to maintain their health and improve their quality of life.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to individuals and organizations that have significantly supported EWOMI’s mission throughout the year. The awards recognized dedication, generosity, and impactful contributions toward the welfare of widows and orphans.

Additionally, to celebrate the season, EWOMI distributed food items, clothing, and essential supplies to widows, ensuring they could end the year on a positive note. The beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the organization’s continued support, emphasizing how these gestures brought hope and relief to their families.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Elijah Obaka John, the founder of EWOMI, reiterated the organization’s commitment to empowering widows and orphans. “This program is a reflection of our dedication to creating a better future for vulnerable individuals. Through education, recognition, and support, we aim to uplift those in need and remind them that they are valued,” he stated.

Community leaders, beneficiaries, and stakeholders commended EWOMI for its unwavering dedication to humanitarian service, urging more organizations and individuals to support initiatives that positively impact society.

EWOMI remains committed to expanding its outreach, advocating for the well-being of widows and orphans, and ensuring that every individual in need receives the care and support they deserve. The end-of-year program marks yet another milestone in the organization’s journey of making a lasting difference in the lives of many.
