EWOMI Awards Scholarships to Students of Niger Secondary School, Gauraka

On the 16th of August, 2019, Elijah’s Widows and Orphans Mission Int’l (EWOMI) once again demonstrated its commitment to education and community empowerment by conducting a scholarship examination for students of Niger Secondary School, Gauraka, located in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State, Nigeria.

The scholarship exams were organized to identify bright and deserving children whose families struggle financially to keep them in school. Thanks to the generosity of EWOMI’s partners and supporters from all over the world, scholarships were awarded to those who excelled in the examination.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration as children who were previously uncertain about their educational future now had their dreams restored. Parents expressed their deep gratitude, sharing how the support would lift a burden from their shoulders and give their children a chance at a brighter tomorrow. The community at large praised EWOMI’s commitment, describing the initiative as a beacon of hope and a much-needed intervention in ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial limitations.

Speaking at the event, EWOMI leadership emphasized that education remains the foundation for a stronger society. By empowering children through scholarships, the organization is not only helping individual families but also investing in the future of Nigeria.
